1998 Established

Beyti is one of the largest producers of milk, juice and yoghurt in Egypt, targeting a market of 86 million consumers and catering to different consumer profiles. Beyti was established in 1998 with the acquisition of the largest commercial dairy farm in Egypt from the Saudi Group Dallah
Al-Baraka. Today, Beyti produces a number of agrifoods products, including juices, 100% natural milk, flavored milk, a variety of spoonable and drinkable yoghurts, as well as cooking and whipping creams, for domestic consumption and export sales.

The International Company for Agro Industrial Projects, Beyti invested in a multi-million dollar construction of a fully-automated, state-of-the-art facility on the Cairo-Alex Desert Road to allow it to process top quality dairy and agricultural products. The plant makes use of the latest and best food processing techniques and innovative layout that maximizes efficiency. It employs high-speed processing machinery, and is capable of producing a diverse variety of dairy, juice and dairy-based products to the highest standards of hygiene and safety. In 2002, the plant’s unique, efficient layout led the European Dairy Magazine to name the Beyti plant “Factory of the Year.”

Today Beyti holds strong market positions in all the categories it operates in and employs over 3,000 people.

Our name, the word ‘Beyti’ in Arabic, has the dual meaning of ‘my home’ and / or ‘home-made,’ reflecting the fact that our products are wholesome and contain no preservatives or any harmful additives. Beyti’s quality control measures ensure that our products are fresh and natural, making it easy for our customers to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

We first began marketing Beyti-branded milk on the Egyptian market in 2002, using a novel bottle packaging that set us apart from the competition. The success of our dairy line led us to expand into juice in 2007, followed closely by our creams line.

In late 2009, IDJ company, a partnership between PepsiCo International and regional dairy powerhouse Almarai, acquired Beyti, providing it with the latest technologies and knowhow of the industry

Our Affiliates

Beyti is proudly associated with a number of regional and international powerhouses in the dairy and juice sector. In 2009, International Dairy and Juice Limited (IDJ), a joint venture between PepsiCo and Almarai, acquired 100% of Beyti’s shares. We see the acquisition as a testament to the quality and standards according to which Beyti operates.

Formed in 2009, IDJ is a joint venture between PepsiCo and Almarai that is focused on opportunities in Southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East (excluding the GCC countries, where Almarai already has a very strong presence). The JV benefits from the synergy between PepsiCo’s marketing savvy and experience as a world leader in the juice industry, and Almarai’s deep knowledge of the regional dairy industry.

Founded in 1976, today Saudi-based Almarai is the largest integrated dairy company in the world, with a reputation for outstanding quality. Its network extends throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council, leading and influencing the agricultural, dairy processing and food distribution industries.
